Access channel

The direction of the terminal's access channel is 065º, being 159m wide and 650m long, measured from the beginning of the marked area to where it opens up to the piers. The depth of the channel varies from a maximum of 13.5m to a minimum of a 12.0m.

Maneuvering basin

Located within the protection jetties. Its diameter is 360m and the depth is 11.8m.

Pilot: mandatory.

Markers and lights

The set of markers and lights is comprised of:

Two buoys, located at the entrance to the access channel;
Two small beacons, located at the head of each berthing pier;
Two buoys on the edge of the maneuvering basin;
A beacon at the end of the berthing area;
Two alignment lights;
Two small beacons on the extremities of the berthing piers.

Recommended anchorage

Anchoring is prohibited in the area next to the south pier and near the Fibria underwater discharge pipe, as indicated on the reverse side of Nautical Chart 1420 issued by the Hydrographic and Navigation Department of the Navy Ministry.
