Portocel - Terminal Especializado de Barra do Riacho S. A., a terminal specialized in the handling and storage of woodpulp as well as unloading of logs, looks continuously for: the satisfaction of its shareholders and customers, the economic, operational, social and environmental sustainability of its activities and the reduction of risks to the safety and health of its employees. This policy is based on:
- The supply of services that are adjusted and differentiated for its shareholders and customers;
- Permanent focus on the operational and financial excellence, having as aim a maximum profitability for its shareholders;
- Permanent improvement in the quality of the services offered and reduction of possible impacts that may be caused to the environment, health and safety of the employees;
- Compliance with legislation, regulations and commitments, formally assumed by the Terminal;
- An ethical and transparent relationship with stakeholders and/or involved parts;
- The fostering of a healthy and safe workplace for its employees;
- Partner with suppliers, service providers and dock labours;
- The fostering of training and motivating to the staff and partners in order to act effectively and efficiently according to the Terminal's strategy.
