The Terminal operates in compliance with the strict safety regulations established by Brazilian legislation for protection of workers, cargo and vessels.
Portocel has received from the State Commission for Public Safety in Ports, Terminals and Navigable Areas (CESPORTOS) a summary of an inspection report stating that the Terminal is capable of complying with the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS).
The document also contains a "Statement of Compliance" attesting to the fact that Portocel complies with the Port Public Security Plan that has been approved by the National Commission for Public Safety in Ports, Terminals and Navigable Areas (CONPORTOS), in reference to Resolution no. 26/2004.
